The Passenger list shows the 3 brothers were all listed as Labourers from England and contracted to land at "S" (Sydney). The "Graham" left England November 19th 1853 via Cape of Good Hope then to Melbourne carrying a total of 233 people, furniture and seeds Depending on which records you look at the “Graham “ arrival date is either 7 April 1854 or 22 April 1854 I haven’t been able to find out if the “Graham” was going to Melbourne or Sydney but either way Daniel and his brothers got off in Melbourne
Why did the 3 boys immigrate to Australia Was it “Gold” ,they where in the area but I haven’t found any records that they were on the gold fields or was it that there mother Sarah Dee had a brother in Australia .Charles Dee had come to Australia when he was in the 57th foot regiment and after being discharged had returned to England On the 7th October 1834 he returned to Australia on the William Metcalf and started a life in Raymond Terrace as a Licensee of the Junction Inn and other Inns in that area
